Welcome to Easton Area Middle School!

Dear EAMS Families and Community,

Welcome to Easton Area Middle School! We are thrilled to welcome you to our school.

My name is Heather Gaumer, and I am honored to serve as the Head Principal of EAMS. Throughout my 25- year career in the Easton Area School District, I have served as a teacher and administrator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. This K–12 background gives me a clear view of where our students start, where they are going, and the wonderful, fast-paced world of middle school.

I am proud to lead a dedicated administrative team and staff. Together, we are committed to preparing our students for high school while supporting them through every step of their middle school journey.

Outside of school, I am a coach’s wife, a mom to two active boys, and a dog mom to our rescue lab retriever. Like many of you, my evenings are spent driving to activities, making dinner, helping with homework, and doing endless piles of laundry!
Living a life of service is what drives me. Parenting and middle school both have challenging days, but my dedication to showing up and doing my best for your children will never waver.
