Education Technology
The Easton Area School District provides all students in grades K-12 with an Apple iPad to support and enhance their learning experience. At the secondary level, the District implements a one-to-one model whereby all students may take the iPad home each day to be used as an extension of their classroom learning.
In addition to the iPad, several departments at the secondary level are equipped with Apple or PC laptops to support students in using industry-standard systems and programs. These departments include Project Lead the Way, Tech Ed, Business, and others.
Roverkids Accounts
All students in the Easton Area School District are provided with a Roverkids account, which are part of our Google Education Suite. Upon entering Grade 6, students are provided access to their Roverkids email account. This provides access to additional Google Suite applications and to promotes academic communication with District staff.
ClassLink
ClassLink is a platform that provides single sign-on access to the learning tools that are used daily in our schools, including First in Math, McGraw Hill Wonders, IXL, Discovery Education, and more. Students can access ClassLink using a QuickCard provided by their teacher or by signing in with their Roverkids account. For more information on how to access ClassLink at home, please check with your child's teacher.
Schoology
Schoology is a learning management system (LMS) that provides a centralized platform for teachers, students, and parents to communicate and access educational resources. It is an extension of the classroom where students can complete assignments, interact with classroom resources, and track their progress in their courses. Parents can sign up for Schoology to receive notifications from the school and monitor their child's progress as well.
